Hailed as a city of parks, Shenzhen is home to over 1,000 parks of different sizes. How to pick from the city’s long, long list of parks? Below are 10 of our recommended parks, each with distinct characteristics.

放风筝去！
Lianhua Hill Park
交通指引：地铁少年宫站F1出口
开放时间：6:00-23:00
Metro: Lines 3 or 4 to Children’s Palace Station (少年宫站)
Opening hours: 6 a.m.-11 p.m.

夏日赏荷
Honghu Park
深圳人的夏天，一定会去洪湖公园赏荷，赏个酣畅淋漓。荷花展已陪伴了深圳人30多年。
洪湖公园有15万平方米荷塘，在品荷园、绿天坪，展出大、中、小、微型四种规格700余种荷花。远观近赏，随心所欲。
Ask a long-time Shenzhen resident where to go in summer to admire lotus flowers, and you will get a definite answer: Honghu Park. Boasting 150,000 square meters of lotus ponds, this park in Luohu District has been the venue for the Shenzhen Lotus Show for over three decades, with hundreds of species of lotus flowers exhibited in each edition of the event.
亭台水榭，是洪湖公园的惊喜。主景亭就在叠泉路边，由芙蓉亭、流霞亭、晨曦亭三座亭子串联而成。
荷塘与亭台相映，廊桥贯通其中。静静坐在亭台之间，或是树荫之下，细细品味空气中的花香，仿佛置身于古代文人墨客的雅集之中。
交通指引：地铁洪湖站B口；公交站洪湖公园①/②站

游山看海两不误
Yandun Hill Ecological Park

Also known as Yandun Hill International Friendship Park, this park in Yantian District was built to commemorate the establishment of friendly relationship between Yantian District and the city of La Coruna in Spain.
The Tower of Hercules in the park, a replica of the Tower of Hercules near La Coruna, is a token of friendship between Yantian and La Coruna.
The park is also an ideal place for taking some nice photos of the bustling Yantian Port.

看一场日落
Shenzhen Bay Park
这里也是深圳最佳观鸟点之一。每年9月到次年4月，大量越冬栖息的候鸟驻足于此。公园中还设有白鹭坡书吧。
看太阳缓缓向地平线移动，看候鸟飞翔又驻足，感受时间静静流淌过这座城市。
The park is also one of the best birding sites in Shenzhen between September and April each year as migratory birds make a stopover here.

深圳“小西湖”
山海连城的深圳，还有一个绝美的自然湖泊。公园占地水域面积120000㎡，立新湖是福永人眼里的“小西湖”。
在环湖8公里的绿道上，或骑行或散步，一赏湖景风光。空中长廊纵横交错在丛林之中，又偶然露出身段，延伸到湖面上。
In a city abundant with water bodies of various types, Lixin Lake in Bao’an District’s Fuyong area still stands out for its unique charm. Cycling along the 8-kilometer greenway around the lake is a recommended way to enjoy the park’s scenery.

沿湖搭建的观景台，在最高处可以一览立新湖全景，是周边市民休闲散步的首选宝地。
除了观湖，这里还有24小时自助湖畔书院和儿童乐园，多种玩法等待你去解锁。

湖里看天空更美
Longtan Park
东部的小伙伴想观湖又不想跑远的话，龙岗的龙潭公园会是你的pick。广阔平静的湖面倒映着蓝天白云，生活中任何忧愁都仿佛在此刻烟消云散。
Watching reflections of the sky and the clouds on a lake surface can help to dispel bad moods. If you live in eastern Shenzhen, Longtan Park in Longgang District is a good pick.
龙潭中有一处卧龙亭。登上二层小阁楼俯瞰湖面，惬意地吹着风，属于公园的“小确幸”大抵如此。
On the island in the heart of Longtan Lake stands a two-story pavilion. Watching from the pavilion reflections on the lake’s surface while breezes caress your face brings a sense of joy and peace.

感受天然氧吧
Yangtai Mountain Forest Park
挑个没那么酷热的日子在树荫里登山，看看深圳八景之一“羊台叠翠”，即小阳台山顶，善徒步的还可进一步登至大阳台山顶，为深圳西部最高峰。
Forest parks are usually regarded as oxygen bars in cities. If that’s what you’re looking for in Shenzhen, try the Yangtai Mountain Forest Park. The tallest mountain in western Shenzhen with its main peak standing at 581 meters, the Yangtai Mountain is quite popular among hikers and tourists.
觉得爬山有点累的小伙伴可以前往观湖亭、龙溪桥，体验休闲溯溪之旅。山脚下是胜利大营救的广场，还可感受历史人文。
交通指引：地铁阳台山东站A口
开放时间：登山道6:00-18:00；广场6:00-22:00
Metro: Line 6 to Yangtai Mountain East Station (阳台山东站)

清凉观瀑
Maluan Mountain Country Park
交通指引：公交站马峦山园区总站（入园停车需预约）
开放时间：6:00-18:00
Transportation: take a bus to Maluan Mountain Park Terminal Station (马峦山园区总站). For self-driving visitors, reservations for parking spaces are required
Opening hours: 6 a.m.-6 p.m.

走网红绿道
Hongqiao Park
全长4公里、平均高度8米的虹桥，宛如一个红色飘带穿梭在城市和树木中。这是国内第二大钢结构单住多曲景观桥。
来一场畅快淋漓的徒步或骑行，登上终点塔，俯瞰光明区，心旷神怡。除了虹桥，浮桥、探桥、悬桥都值得去探索游玩。
With a length of four kilometers and an average height from the ground of eight meters, the red bridge in Hongqiao Park in Guangming District is like a red ribbon fluttering above forests and urbanscape. Walking and cycling are both good ways to explore the park, and the three nearby bridges, all of which are part of the Dadingling Greenway, are also worthy of a visit.

开放时间：园区6:00-22:00；森林区6:00-19:00

Dapeng Peninsula National Geological Park
